Welcome
Are you looking for a warm, experienced counsellor who will support you and offer you space to explore whatever is on your mind at your own pace? I have many years experience supporting a wide range of clients and offer face-to-face counselling from two locations in Bristol as well as online.
Whatever you are experiencing or want support with, I will see you as a human rather than a list of problems to be solved, but some of the areas I have experience of working with include:
anxiety
depression
loss
trauma
bereavement
low self-esteem
identity and belonging
relationship issues
loneliness
stress
postnatal depression
pregnancy and birth
motherhood
Get in touch with me and we can arrange a free 10 minute chat so you can find out more and book your first session.
Working With Me
How Does it Work?
Life can be really hard sometimes and it can help to have someone to talk to who is outside of your usual circles and who will listen carefully to you, responding with care and warmth. I would like to be that person for you. I will create a safe and non-judgmental space for you to share what is on your mind and find support.

People I work with regularly comment on how helpful it is when they say things out loud to someone who listens intently and helps them to explore things in a way they haven’t done before. Very often we find that things that have seemed impossible, overwhelming or stuck can unravel and become lighter and clearer through the process of sharing and being carefully listened to. The relationship I develop with my clients sits at the heart of the healing process. You are the expert on your own life so my role is not to advise or to ‘problem-solve’ but to listen, understand and support you and help you find your own way forward.

I'm an integrative counsellor - which means that I am influenced by a wide range of approaches and theories and I also draw inspiration from all sorts of places and people. The core of my approach is based on the 'Person Centred' counselling model developed by Carl Rogers which places a lot of value on a therapist building a safe and supportive relationship that involves the 'core conditions' - empathy (deep caring), congruence (being real and honest) and unconditional positive regard (valuing the client without conditions).
